The garden is open for visitors everyday from dawn to dusk. The Friends of Abbey Gardens meet three times a week and anyone interested in joining the team is very welcome to come along. These sessions have now ended for the 2011 season BUT Regular gardeners will continue to meet informally on Saturdays, come and get involved and help to create a new kind of garden in Newham.

Now that the weather is improving we invite you to join us to plant our 80 metre long wall with new fruit trees and bushes - a mix of soft fruit, plums, pears and apples that will be wall-trained over the coming years.
Light refreshments will be available, you may want to bring a packed lunch. All tools, instruction and materials are provided.
