These sweet peas where the first thing we harvested from the garden. They only just made it as they'd been sitting in 'loo-roll' plant pots for months before they got into the ground!

These plants repeatedly recovered from bouts of botrytis (a grey spotty leaf fungus brought on by variable weather) - and kept flowering as long as they were deadheaded - this goes to show that you can be too hasty about removing diseased plants sometimes as they can and do recover often
