Pak Choi sown by Nina

Pak Choi "Flowering Purple" (Brassica rapa var. chinensis)

Vegetable - Edible?: Edible

These seeds were from Chiltern Seeds: "Grown mainly for its flowering stalks, not only is this a very tasty vegetable but, with its purple, deeply cut leaves and purple ribbed stems, it is also an attractive and ornamental garden plant. Succeeding in cool weather, this is a hardy, vigorous and generous plant producing masses of flowering stems. Flowers, leaves and stems are all delicious lightly cooked. Can either be sown in spring for harvesting in summer, or in autumn for the following spring. Sow direct or in a seed-bed for transplanting, spacing plants at least 16 ins. apart."

I think we might have sown this at the wrong time, but we'll give it a go!
