I sow this seed as soon as possible after harvesting and then over winter seedlings

I had another bumper crop of seedlings - for plant sales as our Spring Event this year!
The seeds for these came from Karen's garden at Lawson Park, I
had a fluke easy germination with them - Nina

Fingers crossed for this one, if it makes it through for next year they will be stunning.

We will be the envy of gardeners all over the south if we get these blue beauties to perform at Abbey Gardens next year!

They've made it through the winter!! There was a scary point at the start of the year when they were completely invisible but now they're back - could they flower for 'open squares' ?!

I know it's a tiny bit sad but I really like having this record of the plants I personally have lovingly grown. These blue poppies are a real favourite - the seeds came from plants in Karen's garden (which she in turn no doubt grew from seed!) and I then grew the first plants we had at the garden. Today (three years on) I gave my Gran some new plants grown from the next generation of gathered seeds, the rest will be for sale at this weekends Spring Event.
