1 Note

A great way to spice up some of the beans from Abbey gardens.

Ingredients:

1 lb fresh green beans
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, crushed
3/4 teaspoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 red pepper
1 dash black pepper

Directions:

In a shallow frying pan on medium heat add olive oil, dried oregano, and garlic. Saute until garlic turns slightly brown. Add green beans, snapped in half and toss, stir, flip and mix up until they are slightly tender.

Squeeze on lemon juice and sprinkle on pepper. Serve hot. Enjoy
