Chiltern Seeds say: "Quite different to your average, traditional Radish, this variety produces long, slender, tapered, snow-white roots five or six inches in length. Crisp, tender, mild-flavoured, white flesh. Tolerant of summer heat, the roots never become woody or pithy."
We planted these on top of the earth pile which will later be used to earth up the potatoes either side.
