Fiddle Neck (Phacelia tanacetifolia)

Flowering Annual - Edible?: Inedible

An erect, hairy annual with finely cut leaves and very dense, curved spikes of small, soft lavender, bell-shaped flowers which are enjoyed by bees. We use it as a green manure and in our wild flower strip.

This was dug (we grew it as a green manure) in by Loothfur and Luu on the 24.09.11
