Chiltern Seeds say" "This is a Ridge Cucumber (very easily grown outdoors in a typical English summer - a fact we feel we should emphasize), an outstanding and reliable variety of the slicing type producing dark green fruits 7 or 8 inches long. Good, strong, disease resistant plants. In the writer's opinion, the flavour of these Cucumbers in a salad is quite the equal of any hot house variety."
